Zahid is the Founder of KassemConsulting, LLC and joined TurboPass’ Advisory Board in May of 2019 with the plan to lead lender relations and business development efforts.

Zahid has over 30 years of experience leading Enterprise Fraud / Risk team across various financial institutions. Prior to joining TurboPass, Zahid served as Vice President of Identity, Fraud, and Compliance Products at Equifax. Additionally, Zahid was SVP, Fraud & Dealer Management at Santander Consumer Finance and held senior management roles at Ally, NetSpend, General Electric. Bank of America, and Dell Financial Services.

Why did you join TurboPass?
Believing in the leadership and the vision of a company is essential when joining an organization. I was inspired by the thought leadership of co-founders Mike and Ken Jarman and the impact of the TurboPass product. The extent to which this combination is helping customers and businesses mitigate fraud had me eager to help join the team.
What’s the most important thing TurboPass accomplishes?
TurboPass keeps the verification process simple and secure. The consumer invitation provides a holistic way to improve customer experience while seamlessly providing the necessary verification services to businesses. Consumers get their sensitive information communicated safely, while businesses can make decisions faster using live data.
Tell us about trends you’re seeing in the verifications space?
There are many players in the market looking to solve the ‘dealers’ problems, however many are ‘point’ solutions. What TurboPass provides in a single platform solving a plethora of dealer problems; be in Income, Employment, Identity or Insurance verifications.
How did past roles prepare you for this position?
Over the last 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing leaders / organizations who taught me everything I know about Fraud in Financial Services. This experience has allowed me to listen and help people solve problems. Skills such as thinking creatively, working in collaboration, and leading by example has provided me the fortitude to be successful at TurboPass, building products that solve problems!
What feedback do you get most from dealers?
Most dealers are happy to help us fight the good fight against fraud. At TurboPass, the first order of business is to listen to our customers, understand their needs, and solve them as quickly as possible with the desired results. It’s a win-win-win for all parties in the car buying process where consumers get to experience a quick verification process, dealers get their deal funded faster, and lenders get verifications that are current and fraud-proof.
What excites you most about TurboPass’ future?
At TurboPass, we are changing the landscape of verifications for dealerships, apartments, and we don’t plan to stop at just those industries. Providing a seamless process to verify so our customers can continue to grow their top line business, while managing losses that impact bottom results, is our number one priority. What excites me the most about the future is our product suite. It’s that by continued exceptional service to all our customers, TurboPass will become an ever-thorough platform built for all businesses’ verifications needs.
